"out of core" msg on V/386

I am running V/386 3.0e and encountered an error I've never seen
before. I'm basically curious if it's something I should persue fixing
through patching something in the kernel or dismiss it as a result
of doing something illegal. :-)

    Did the following command:

    ncheck -i 39 /dev/dsk/0s0 (which returned)

    /dev/dsk/0s0:
ncheck: out of core-- increase HSIZE

This seems pretty basic. Would I want to search out HSIZE in the
kernel linkkit and increase it or just not worry ? (be happy?) :-)
Thanks.
