help using kermit AND uucp

I'd like to solicit some information on setting up a
mixed environment; combining uucp and kermit.

The situation is that some staff are guests on a system where
the primary users have no need for dial-in facilities, and
use kermit for outgoing file transfers. The guests, on the
other hand wish to use the traditional uucp facilities and
need bi-directional access.

As the primary users are engaged in revenue producing activities,
the guests can not afford to disrupt the primary activities.

If anyone has experience in this mixed environment, I would
greatly appreciate hearing some suggestions.

Here are the specifics of the environment:

        C.P.U. AT&T 3B2/600
        O.S. SVR3.1.1
        Modem Telebit TrailBlazer+
        Kermit c-kermit 4c(057) 31 Jul 85
                (from the initial screen)

Now the questions:

First, is c-kermit compatible with uugetty (on the same port)?

Second, any suggestions for entries in:
        gettydefs
        inittab
        Systems
        Devices
        Dialers

Third, what about appropriate settings for TB+ registers.
They are used at a fixed 19.2K to the 3B2.

Fourth, any configuration/setup for c-kermit in this environment?
I am totally ignorant of the frog, so I do not even know if such exist.

Last, anything else you can think of to make a smooth integration.

Thanks muchly.
