librpcsvc.a on Open Desktop 1.0 (problem ??)

Hi NetLand,

I'm currently testing Open Desktop 1.0 from SCO;

I've tried to compile the little program given as example on page 3-3 of the
Network Development System (RPC Programming, the program tries to call the
RPC function rnusers() to get the number of users on target server).

cc -O -o rnuser -lrpcsvc -lsocket -lrpc

At link time, I've received an undefined symbol with the function rnusers().
I've checked for the error and I found that my librpcsvc.a library is 27396
bytes big and doesn't contain any of the standard function I can expect to find
in.

I would the like to ask to every Open Desktop users if my library appears to be
correct or not and if it is correct, how do they correctly compile the little
demo ?

By the way, I've tested exactly the same program on a Targon/35 (Pyramid) and itworked well.

Thank you for your attention.
