Query - UN*X on Prime computer?

With Gerald O'nions (now go at ist.uucp) my third year undergraduate project was to
port v7 unix onto a Prime P750.  It needed about 3-4 months more before I feel
happy letting users on it, well moderately happy :-).  It was done from scratch,
no C compiler was available and we had little info on the hardware.

We'd probably have finished it if we could have had machine time during working
hours but the users wouldn't let us.
