Does get(1) and delta(1) send SIGTERM ?

I have a daemon which acts as an SCCS interface program. My problem is
that I receive SIGTERM *sometimes* when I fork(2)/exec(2) or system(3s)
the get(1) and delta(1) commands.

I find this very peculiar, I don't get the SIGTERM every time, only now
and again.

Further, I never seem to get the problem when my daemon does NOT close
all files when I detach from the controling tty.

So my question is: Does get(1) and delta(1) ever send SIGTERM ?

I'm running this on a NCR Tower 32/400 with V.2++ (NCR calls it 2.01).
Oh yes, and I'm using a lot of imbedded SQL (ORACLE's Pro*C).

This problem has been bugging me for a month now, and I would really
appreciate some guru advice.
