The gt version of xenix?

There was a discussion about the gt version of xenix a few weeks ago in
comp.unix.xenix.sco.  Our news feed wasn't working properly at the time and
I missed the summary.  I would like to find out what the conclussion was.
I am interested in adding a scsi controller as my prymary controller and
also getting a scsi tape drive.  So, what does the gt version do for you
and can you get by without it?  Also, is my version of xenix 2.3.2 386
upgradable or must I start over?
