Hi,

I have posted this problem to comp.unix.xenix.sco before but now
feel it's time to widen the area of discussion.

We have the following setup:

	* 40+ PC's on a 3Com 3+Share (older) network connected to 2
          3Com 3Server3's

	* 1 386/20 running SCO Xenix 2.3.2 (w/ SCO TCP/IP 1.0.1h)

	* the 386 contains a 3Com 3C503 (Etherlink II) card.

	* The other PC's are split between 3C501 and 3C503 cards.

Our Problem:

	Using NCSA Telnet with the version 7 Clarkeson packet drivers,
	trying to get a connection to the Xenix host produces the
	following:

	System V.2.3.2 XENIX (lionet.wesley.oz.au)

	and then telnet jumps to dos, with no login prompt.

If anyone has had this problem before and was able to fix it, We'd be
most interested in the solution.
