netnews with Xenix

SCO apparently have got it to work.  You can ftp B News 2.11
binaries as compiled by SCO for Xenix from
ftp.uu.net:/sco-archive/xnx143.{v1.Z,v2.Z,ltr} but I don't understand
why a new news site would want to run B News.  Have you considered
running C News instead ?  You can't possibly have that much spare CPU
to throw away, surely ?
