SCO C

I am in the process of moving a lot of C source from Microsoft
5.0/5.1 to Xenix. The result will still run on dos, but we are
moving the development effort. Apparently, my brand-new, twice
as much $ compiler from SCO does not yet support:

	- formal parameter data types declared inside the
	  function declaration
	- malloc as a void *
	- interrupt attribute when compiling with the -dos flag
(Tends to make some of the prototypes under
	  /usr/include/dos somewhat worthless...)
	- The -C (ignore case) flag does not seem to do
anything under dosld (a problem when bringing in
purchased DOS libraries converted to .a's)

I admit that most of these are either no big deal, or easy to work
around. My question is: when is SCO expected to have a more up-to-date
ANSI compiler? What is the agreement between SCO and Microsoft?
Anyone from out there in west-coast-land care to comment?
