VP/ix, Xenix-386 2.3.2, VGA, keyboard problems?

Ok.  It's easy.

At sometime in the past you told configure that you had an enhanced AT
keyboard.  It didn't appear to change anything when you set it, did it?  It
>does< hose VP/IX completely.  

You might not remember doing this, but you did.  The system will >never< set
that parameter by itself -- you have to do it.

Turn it off in configure (set it to "0").  Relink your kernel.  The problem
will disappear.
