usage time on machine, Xenix, getty?

Just out of curiousity, has anyone setup a program to monitor usage time on
your machine?  I'd like to get a summary of usage on my machine's lines and
how long each user uses them -- both if possible...

This would aid me greatly in deciding how often people call and can't get
through or whether I pay for too many phone lines....

Any suggestions are welcome.  I know how to get when people log in, but
not how long the line is in use or not in use...
