This article, along with it's companion, is being posted through the
kindness of Leonard Sitongia at 'ncar'.  Don't bother him with responses but
send any remarks to me at the address in the signature below.

This is the second of two articles Leonard posted for me.  If you didn't
receive the other one, then you are not getting the 'unix-pc.*' groups. 
Only cross postings are being received by your site.

In the other message, I asked the readers to 'ls -l /news/unix-pc/general'
to get an indication of how many articles are being singularly posted. 
On my machine, I have one.  It was cross posted to the 'u3b*' groups
which I do not carry but my feed ( a 3b2 ) probably does.

The information from this test should give everyone an indication of how
they are served and the viability of using an ancillary distribution
scheme.
