Anonymous ftp passwords

With all the fixes to ftp to make a special case out of ANONYMOUS logings,
here is a simple fix to a silly problem but would make me happier as
the maintainer of an anon ftp.

If you login as "anonymous" (assuming you spell it correctly, and that is
a major reason that lots of first time people have problems with anon ftp's)
there is NO REASON to supress the echo on the password ! In fact,
you don't need to prompt for the password , you should prompt for your
user ident with user, machine, and domain info enforced for foreign logins.

I find that the ftp LOGGING option is foiled by people who type junk for
the password, or make typos because they can't see what they are doing.

If someone really wants to remain anonymous, that is ok, but if they do
want to give me an audit trail, I should help them, not make it difficult
for them to type!

I have see some anon ftps that try to do this on BSD machines. Lets see
a better implimentation for sgi machines. You might even want to do it
just to keep better audit trails for the anon ftp on sgi.com.

Cheers!
