Equivalent for printcap aliases in qconfig ??

Is there a simple way of providing aliases for the queues listed in the
qconfig file other than  gross duplication of stanzas ?

We work in a network where every other machine runs printcap, 
consequently any two users probably access the same printer by 
different names :-) . The same two users expect to be able to do so 
on an AIX box as well.
