SCO Open Desktop with both ESDI and SCSI

I am going to upgrade my 386 SCO Open Desktop system and would like to know
a few things before I do so. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I am currently using a 150MB drive with a WD1007 ESDI controller w/floppy.

1) How easy is it to add a SCSI (Adaptec 1542B) and drive along with the
current ESDI controller. I think that the ESDI will have to be the primary
drive. Anybody see any problems with this?

2) Has anybody had any experience getting the Sysquest SQ55 SCSI drive to
work with an Adaptec 1542B and SCO ODT? I am trying to decide between
a fixed disk like a 340MB SCSI Micropolis or a 44MB removable like the
SQ55. Any reliability problems with the SQ55?
