POSIX and ISC 2.2.x -- and gcc?

The stock version of gcc 1.39 supports the '-posix' flag which changes
the linked startup objects to the POSIX versions.

After applying the recently posted "namei" patch, I have been running
POSIX bash-cwru without panics for over a week.
